Flooding concerns for northwest Montana
A steady flow of mild and moist Pacific air will keep the clouds rolling across western Montana. Rain will develop across northwest Montana Monday night spreading as far south as the MIssoula area. The showers will then advance into southwest Montana on Tuesday. The showers will continue periodically through Thursday in the Missoula and Kalispell areas. There will be another chance of showers Thursday in the Butte and Bozeman areas.
There are flooding concerns across northwest Montana in Flathead, Lincoln, Mineral and Sanders Counties. Mild temperatures, snow melt and rain will bring the threat of low land flooding.
It will be mild with highs in the 40s in Kalispell and the 50s in Missoula, Bozeman and Butte. In fact, it may reach 60 on Wednesday in Bozeman! Lows in the 30s to around 40.
