Gusty winds through the evening then pleasant


Gusty winds have been blowing across western Montana with a Canadian storm system responsible for the windy weather.

Wind gusts up to 20 and 30 mph will occur through the evening, then the winds will diminish after sunset. The winds are coming from the west.

Beautiful weather will occur across the region for the first few days of summer. We can expect clear, chilly nights and sunny, mild days. Lows in the 40s and highs in the 70s on Thursday.

Temperatures will drop a little Friday, especially east of the divide, as some Canadian air moves into the area. Highs will be in the 60s both Friday and Saturday in Bozeman and Butte but remain in the 70s in Missoula and Kalispell.

The weekend looks great with clear to partly cloudy skies. Highs will warm to the 70s and lower 80s Sunday and continue through most of next week.

There is a hit of rain by Wednesday. of next week.
