Surges of Pacific moisture will continue to bring snow and a mixture of snow and rain to western Montana.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for all areas west of the divide, including the Missoula, Butte and Kalispell areas and all passes east of the divide, including near Bozeman. Snowfall of 1 to 5 inches in the valleys and 6 to 12 inches in the mountains.

The snow will mix with and possibly change to rain Wednesday night and Thursday along and south of I-90. Lows in the 20s to lower 30s. Highs Thursday in the 30s to lower 40s.

WINTER STORM WATCH for northwest Montana late Thursday through early Friday, including the Kalispell area. Very heavy snow is possible Thursday night as moisture over runs an arctic cold front.

A break from the precipitation on Saturday with rain and snow returning on Sunday this weekend.
