Emergency managers in Madison County are reporting the Jefferson River is threatening homes near Waterloo. They also report that some roads in the area are covered by 2 feet of water.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Advisory from Waterloo to Silver Star to just north of Twin Bridges on state highway 41. This alert will last until further notice.

Driving through flooded roads is the number one cause of flooding deaths. Don't attempt to drive through flooded areas.

Expect some light to moderate rainfall through the overnight hours region-wide with the best chances for rain remaining in western parts of our viewing area. Rain will fizzle out by morning with lows in the 40s.

Saturday and Father's Day will both be nice and sunny! Temperatures will warm from the 60s and low 70s Saturday to the mid and upper 70s Sunday. Highs will hit the 80s Monday and Tuesday as the warming trend continues. A few showers will be possible Saturday morning and on Tuesday around Yellowstone.

From midweek on temperatures will swing back down to the 70s and the Kalispell area will have a slight chance for rain.
