Rain and mountain snow will continue this morning. Lolo and Lost Trail passes will see a slushy accumulation of an inch or two. Minor flooding will remain a concern today as many areas continue to see rain and increased runoff. Winds will begin to increase today and by the afternoon wind gusts of 20 to 30 mph will be common. Daytime highs will be in the 40s.

FLOOD ADVISORY until 11:30 am Thursday for Gallatin, Beaverhead, Broadwater and Madison Counties of southwest Montana and until 1 pm Thursday for Sanders and Mineral Counties in west central Montana.

We will get a break from the rain Friday. Highs will be in the upper 40s and 50s.

Another cold front will move through the area this weekend. In advance of it, warmer air will move into the region with highs Saturday in the mid 50s to mid 60s, making it the warmest day thus far this year. There will be a chance of showers west of the divide and area wide Saturday night and Sunday. Cooler Sunday with highs in the 40s to lower 50s.
