Scattered showers, warmer temperatures

A moist western Pacific flow will continue to bring unsettled weather to western Montana periodically through next week.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY until noon Thursday for Glacier Park south to the Seeley-Swan and Potomac areas northeast of Missoula. Snowfall of 1 to 4 inches in the valleys and 3 to 6 inches in the mountains. WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY until noon Thursday for the White Sulphur Springs area. Snowfall of 1 to 4 inches in the lower elevations and 4 to 8 inches at Kings Hill Pass.

A few snow and graupel showers will be possible today, with most of the shower activity staying west of the divide. This should end during the afternoon. Otherwise, partly to mostly cloudy with highs in the upper 30s and low 40s.

We will see a break from the snow on Friday with highs in the lower 40s. An increasing chance of snow, graupel and rain showers this weekend. Highs in the upper 30s to mid 40s. Cooler Sunday and Monday. More unsettled weather next week.
