Scattering of spring showers

A scattering of rain and graupel showers will continue today. As snow levels hover around 5000 to 6000 feet, mountain passes will see a dusting to an inch of wet snow.

A break from the precipitation will occur Tuesday with partly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the upper 40s to lower 50s.

We are tracking a storm system that will bring late day showers to the Missoula and Kalispell areas on Wednesday. Most of the day will be dry with the best chance of rain and mountain snow Wednesday night and Thursday.

A slight chance of showers Friday through next weekend. Highs in the upper 40s to mid 50s.

TRAVEL ALERT: MDT is still monitoring an active slide area just north of Swan Lake. Travelers should watch for rock and debris on the road near milepost 75.
