Severe storms likely in the region this evening
Final Update 10:00 p.m: The potential for severe weather is pretty much over tonight, but a few storms will continue to drop lightning and some gusty winds through midnight to 1 a.m. Monday will see a few showers around Kalispell and Yellowstone Park with highs only in the 60s and 70s. Midweek will be hot with highs near 90 degrees likely in Bozeman, Missoula, and Kalispell. More thunderstorms are likely Thursday and Friday before a chilly and wet weekend. The continued warmth will not help river levels. The Salmon River will remain at moderate flood stage all of the upcoming week while parts of many rivers will reach minor flood stage or action stage by Tuesday.
