Slick roads this morning, more rain on the move


Black ice and patchy fog will be possible during the morning drive.

Partly to mostly cloudy skies for much of the day. However, a mild and moist Pacific flow will result in clouds and periodic valley rain and a mountain rain and snow showers for areas west of the divide by the afternoon. This will mainly be from Missoula north to Kalispell. Snow levels will continue to rise. Elsewhere, skies will be variably cloudy with breezy and mild conditions.

Highs Tuesday in the 40s. Lows in the 30s. A slight warm-up is expected Wednesday and Thursday with many areas reaching into the 50s. Showers will remain in the forecast through the end fo the week from Missoula to Kalispell.

Mostly dry this weekend with highs in the 40s.
