Unsettled weather will continue

A moist western Pacific flow will continue to bring unsettled weather to western Montana periodically through next week.

Strong and gusty winds are expected through Wednesday evening across west central and southwest Montana, with gusts up to 45 mph from the Bitterroot Valley east to the Butte area.

A few snow and graupel showers through Thursday, with most of them west of the divide. Otherwise, partly to mostly cloudy with lows in the 10s in Butte to the 20s elsewhere. Highs Thursday around 40.

A break on Friday with highs in the lower 40s. An increasing chance of snow, graupel and rain showers this weekend. Highs in the upper 30s to mid 40s. Cooler Sunday and Monday. More unsettled weather next week.
