Winter weather is hanging on
Light snow will be possible through the morning commute. Scattered snow off and on this afternoon with snow accumulations staying under two inches. Highs will be in the 20s to mid 30s.
Tuesday night and early Wednesday a heavier round of snow will move across areas west of the divide while Butte and Bozeman see only light snow showers.
Thursday through next weekend, computer models are trending toward much snowier and colder conditions. Next weekend could be packing some of the coldest weather we've seen for a few weeks as cold Canadian air drops down into the central Montana plains. We'll be keeping a close eye on that time frame over the next few days.
