8-year-old avalanche survivor 'doing well' at the hospital


MISSOULA, Mont - Friends of the boy who survived an avalanche in Missoula Friday are rallying around the boy and his family.

An online fundraiser's been set up on for 8-year-old Phoenix Scoles, who was buried in avalanche debris for 45 minutes before rescue crews and volunteers were able to pull him out.

According to the site, Scoles is doing well at the hospital, but his family could use help covering expenses and hospital bills.
