Attorneys general to meet in Big Sky
BIG SKY, Mont. - Attorney General Tim Fox (R-Montana) will meet with 56 other state and territorial attorneys general at an annual summer meeting at Big Sky Resort this Tuesday through Thursday.
The group, which makes up the National Association of Attorneys General, will tackle rural health care, data breaches and fraud and natural disasters.
Fox told NBC Montana the conference focuses on people rather than politics.
"It's important for Montanans to know that there are things that we can work together on and collaborate on that help make our world here in America safer and enhance people's lives," Fox said. "That's a feature of this association that is somewhat unique, in the sense that we work together on a lot of things and really make a difference."
Gov. Steve Bullock will deliver the opening remarks Tuesday. The meeting runs until Thursday at 2 p.m.
