Bozeman International Airport sets record for number of travelers


BOZEMAN, Mont. - The Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport handled a record number of passengers in 2016, with 1,107,168 travelers.

According to the airport's website it was an 8.4-percent increase over 2015 and sets a passenger record for Bozeman for the seventh consecutive year by serving 29 percent of all air travelers traveling to and from Montana.

Bozeman International is now the eighth busiest airport in a seven-state northwest region that includes Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Oregon and Washington.

It is the 114th busiest airport in the nation in terms of passengers.
