Butte authorities investigate possible shooting at Knights of Columbus


BUTTE, Mont. - Butte-Silver Bow authorities are investigating reports of a gunshot fired Tuesday afternoon in the women's bathroom of Butte's Knights of Columbus building.

Investigators believe a man fired the gun accidentally around 12:30 p.m. and fled the scene before authorities arrived, according to Butte-Silver Bow Undersheriff George Skuletich.

Skuletich said no one was injured, and the man is not considered to be a danger to the public.
