Cold may be factor in Butte homeless man's death

BUTTE, Mont. - Butte police say the bitterly cold weather may have been a factor in a Butte man's death Tuesday.

Undersheriff George Skuletich says a body was found around 5:30 p.m. in the area of the Civic Center and bus station off Harrison Avenue.

They don't suspect foul play, and police are waiting for a toxicology report to get more answers. But Skuletich says the man was homeless and may have died from being out in the cold.

His name hasn't been released.
