Crews respond to 2-acre fire near Alberton

MISSOULA, Mont. - Fire managers are asking residents to steer clear of Petty Creek, near Alberton, as crews respond to a wildfire in the area.

Official say the blaze is burning on about 2 acres of forested land.

Crews on scene include the Frenchtown Rural Fire District, two helicopters, and a single engine air tanker dropping retardant.

We're told no structures are threatened at this time.
