Former Butte Justice of the Peace Robert Lee arrested on suspicion of DUI

BOULDER, Mont. - Jefferson County Justice Court workers confirmed to NBC Montana that former Justice of the Peace Robert Lee was arrested early this morning for suspicion of DUI.

We're told he pleaded not guilty to the charge and the judge set bond at $770.

Lee was sentenced last month on two felony counts of fraudulently obtaining dangerous drugs. He received a three year deferred sentence.

Lee had originally faced more than 30 counts. Prosecutors say he "doctor shopped" to obtain multiple prescriptions of methadone.
