The best chances of accumulating valley snow will be across southwest Montana from Bozeman south to the Idaho and Wyoming borders. Snowfall here will range from 1 to 3 inches, with up to 5 inches in the mountains. Lows in the 20s in Bozeman and Butte to the lower 30s in Missoula and Kalispell.
A very blustery and chilly day Tuesday with rain, snow and graupel showers. West winds 15 to 25 mph with some gusts up to 35 mph.
Drier and gradually milder Wednesday and Thursday with partly cloudy skies. Lows in the 20s to around 30 and highs in the 40s to around 50 Wednesday and the upper 40s to upper 50s Thursday.
Even milder late week and the weekend. We should see sunshine Friday with highs in the 50s to lower 60s. Similar this weekend although a slight chance of showers. Highs in the 50s to around 60.
