Man accused of driving getaway car in Ole's shooting pleads not guilty
MISSOULA, Mont. - The man accused of driving the getaway car after a shooting at an East Missoula gas station pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Preston James Hanna faces two felony charges for allegedly assisting a friend in the attempted robbery and the shooting at Ole's gas station in East Missoula on September 7.
Prosecutors say Hanna waited in the car while his friend Christopher Burch went into Ole's, shot an employee and ran out.
That gunshot left the employee, Adam Gallegos, seriously injured. Gallegos sustained several serious injuries, including losing his right lung.
Burch, the alleged shooter, hasn't appeared in District Court yet. Hanna is scheduled to appear again at the end of October.
Bail is still set at $500,000 for both men.
