Missoula man gets probation for stabbing
MISSOULA, Man - A man convicted of stabbing another man will be on probation when he gets out of prison for another crime.
Timothy James Hoppe stabbed another man in the chest behind Shopko last June. The victim survived.
In Missoula County District Court Wednesday, a judge told Hoppe he'll have to remain on probation for 5 years after he gets out of prison.
Hoppe is already serving a 10-year prison sentence for assault on a peace officer.
