Missoula man pleads guilty to felony for assisting with robbery
MISSOULA, Mont. - A Missoula man accused of driving the getaway car after a shooting at a gas station, pleaded guilty to a felony in exchange for a plea deal.
Preston Hanna admitted to accountability to robbery last week. The felony is for waiting in the car last September while his friend, Christopher Burch, went into Ole's in East Missoula, shot an employee and ran out. The victim Adam Gallegos was left seriously injured.
The plea deal filed with Missoula County District Court recommends a 20 year sentence in prison with 15 suspended. Hanna's sentencing hearing is scheduled for the middle of next month.
Burch is still scheduled to go to trial for allegedly shooting Gallegos. That trial is scheduled to start next week
