Missoula police arrest man with ties to teen's murder
MISSOULA, Mont. - A man in Missoula and two other individuals are in custody for their alleged involvement in the death and cover-up of a missing teenager in Washington state.
The Whitman County Sherriff's Office in Colfax, Wash., reports that early Monday morning Missoula Police arrested 44-year-old Bobby Jerome Bilderback after Whitman County issued a warrant for his arrest.
Bilderback, of Malden, Wash., who was at a Missoula residence, James Larry Ramson of Spokane, and Chastity Dawn Barkhuff of Walden are wanted in connection with for the death of 17-year-old Donavin Stapert.
Stapert died in his home in Malden, Wash., on March 7, 2013 and later moved to an undisclosed location. Whitman County Sheriff Brett Myers said Stapert was reported missing March 8.
All three suspects were arrested on homicide and drug charges.
The case is still under investigation. The Whitman County Sheriff's Office will release additional information as it becomes available.
Bilderback is scheduled to appear in Missoula County Justice Court Tuesday afternoon.
