MISSOULA, Mont. - Detective Mitch Lang, with the Missoula Police Department, is attempting to identify and locate two men who were involved in an altercation with a man at a restaurant in the 3000-block of Stockyard Road on Feb. 24 at about 9:30 p.m.

One of the suspects was wearing a black jacket and knit hat. He allegedly wielded a knife during the run-in. The suspects were with a woman and two children.

The disturbance may have been racially motivated, as the victim is African-American, and the suspects had tattoos that suggested an association with the white supremacy movement.

No injuries were reported.

The group left the restaurant in a white passenger car.

If you can identify either suspect in this case, please contact Lang at 406-552-6292. Refer to Missoula Police Department Case #2017-8295.
