Missoula seniors gear up for all-night graduation party
The 2017 Missoula Senior All-Night Party is a chance for graduating seniors to celebrate in a safe, alcohol and drug-free environment.
All seniors graduating from all public and private high schools are welcome.
The first all-night party was held over 30 years ago in response to kids losing their lives in graduation night accidents.
"So they all came together -- law enforcement, parents, teachers, friends -- to form this committee to put on this party in this safe environment," Kitty Ortman, chair of the Missoula Senior All-Night Party, said.
This year the party will be at the Hub Family Entertainment Center, near the airport.
For the price of a ticket graduates will get food and access to unlimited video games, go-carts and laser tag. There will be hourly drawings to win cash, scholarships and electronics.
Doors open at 8:30 p.m. Saturday. There will be no admittance after 10.
An advance ticket is $20, or students can pay $25 at the door.
