Police investigate missing woman case in Anaconda

ANACONDA, Mont. - 41-year year old Tammy Salle is still missing. Investigators call her disappearance suspicious.

Authorities questioned Salle's boyfriend John Goldberg, who mentioned that the two had gotten into an argument, and Salle had left in his car afterwards.

"Every time they went somewhere or came home they were always together," said Steve Van Cleave, Tammy Salle's neighbor.

Other neighbors confirmed the couple as being close and loving towards one another.

But friends and family of Salle's find her disappearance unusual, especially because it happened just before the holiday.

"I'm real worried about her," added Van Cleave.

"She hasn't contacted any of her family members, her family are real concerned, it's kind of strange over Christmas that no contact or no phone calls were made," said Ken Walund, lead detective for the case.

Other investigators say Salle was last seen December 22, and her daughter reported her missing the day after Christmas.

"The morning of December 28th around 3:30 a.m. Powell County Deputies found her car at the Racetrack overpass," said Walund.

The 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix was located at the Racetrack Exit off I-90. We're told it had a flat tire and there were footprints around the vehicle.

Police say the disappearance looks suspicious.

Goldberg cooperated with police at first, but never showed up to a second interview.

Neither the Anaconda Police nor Goldberg's family has heard from or seen him since.

"I just hope they find her," said neighbor Steve Van Cleave.

Salle is described as 5'5" with brown hair and green eyes and weighs between 140 and 150 pounds.
