Police investigate reported robbery near MSU


BOZEMAN, Mont. - The Bozeman Police Department and the Montana State University Police Department are investigating a robbery reported near campus early Tuesday morning.

In a press release police say the victim of the robbery was walking on South Sixth Avenue near West College Street when the robber grabbed him, placed him in a choke hold, threw him to the ground, then ran off with his belongings at 3:29 a.m.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 6-feet tall, medium build, wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans. Police say he was last seen running northbound on South Sixth Avenue.
