Relief from heat Tuesday as cold front moves in
A cold front has been moving through western Montana. Showers and thunderstorms occurred overnight across some parts of the area. Lingering showers are possible this morning, mainly from Missoula south and east to Butte and Bozeman. Showers and thunderstorms will re-develop this afternoon across southwest Montana, including the Bozeman and Butte areas. Otherwise, cooler today with highs in the 70s to around 80.
Most of the rain will have ended tonight across the region. Partly cloudy with lows in the 40s to around 50.
Rain will re-develop Wednesday in an area south and east of Bozeman. Otherwise, partly sunny and pleasant with highs in the 70s.
A slight chance of showers Thursday. Partly sunny with highs once again in the 70s.
A little warmer Friday through the weekend with highs in the upper 70s to mid 80s. Some models are showing a few showers for Saturday, but most of the weekend should be dry. Similar temperatures are expected next week, including the Fourth of July.
