Second Bigfork burglary suspect arrested

Kalispell, Mont. - 18-year-old Shane Christensen of Kalispell was arrested on Tuesday, March 12, in connection with a string of burglaries at six Bigfork-area businesses that occurred overnight on February 18.

Allegedly Christensen along with 18-year-old Severin Gislason of Kalispell broke into Bigfork United Rentals and stole a credit card. Documents also say he broke in to the Bigfork Senior Center, a dentist's office and chiropractor's office, among others.

According to Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry, Gislason and Christensen used the credit card to put $5,000 into one of their PayPal accounts and they then spent a further $3,000 to $4,000.
