Stockman Bank celebrates new location with ribbon-cutting ceremony
MISSOULA, Mont. - Stockman Bank celebrated its new permanent location Wednesday at the corner of Orange and Broadway in downtown Missoula. The bank brought the property from the Salvation Army. Throughout the three-year construction process they built up staff to 38 employees. The bank is leasing offices out of the fourth and fifth floor. Market president Bob Burns says this will be an ideal place to reach customers. “I’m just excited to open up our doors to the Missoula public to come in and see this building. Certainly our customers are excited to have a permanent location with a drive-thru facility in downtown Missoula,” said Burns. Director of membership of the Missoula Chamber of Commerce Margit Baake is excited about the new building and says it will have a huge impact in the community. “We couldn’t be more excited for them and we support them. We can’t wait to see how it impacts downtown and the economy, and we know it will,” said Baake. The bank is in the process of building its second permanent location in the spring on the corner of Brooks Street and Dore Lane.
