Suspect arrested in recent Bozeman robbery

Bozeman Police are reporting the following:

On Thursday, June 14, 2018, at approximately 2:30 pm, Bozeman Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Healthcare Massage at 1707 West Oak Street. Reports indicated a masked male had brandished a handgun and demanded money. The male obtained an undisclosed amount of cash, then fled on foot prior to officer’s arrival.

Officers from the Bozeman Police, MSU Police, and Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office were unable to locate him at that time.

On Friday, June 15, detectives identified 58-year-old Belgrade resident Jeffrey King as a suspect in the robbery. Later that same day, patrol officers located King’s vehicle in Bozeman and took him into custody without incident.

King was charged with Robbery and is currently being held without bond at the Gallatin County Detention Center.
