UPDATE: Missoula suicide victim ticketed at same intersection days before death
MISSOULA, Mont. - The Missoula County Sheriff's Office has released the identity of the Mullan Road suicide victim. Erin Rosalie Nordin was a 37-year-old Missoula resident.
According to the investigating coroner, Nordin died on Tueday, as a result of injuries sustained from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The suicide shut down a major intersection in Missoula Tuesday morning, at Mullan and Reserve.
Missoula Police told us they had to force their way inside to get to Nordin.
Police say she pulled out of a gas station parking lot and struck another vehicle and then shot her self.
Court records show Nordin was pulled over just two days prior at the same intersection. She was ticketed for driving without a valid driver's license and driving under the influence of drugs.
