Griz add transfer QB Cam Humphrey
It's been almost two months since Montana quarterback Gresch Jensen announced his transfer away from the Grizzly football team despite a spectacular freshman season at UM.
This week the program has announced a quarterback who will be transferring to Missoula to join the Grizzlies.
Cam Humphrey, a 6-foot-2 native of Issaquah, Washington, will be making his third college football stop already by joining the Grizzlies for his sophomore season.
Humphrey most recently competed at QB as a red-shirt freshman at Saddleback Junior College in Southern California where he passed for 2,187 yards passing with 19 touchdowns in 11 games to earn first team all-conference honors after leading his team to an 8-3 record and a playoff berth.
Before Saddleback, Humphrey spent his first year of college red-shirting at FBS football powerhouse Boise State.
Humphrey will compete with junior transfer Dalton Sneed for the starting job at Montana along with Polson native Tanner Wilson who will be a red-shirt freshman in the fall.
Eureka 2-time state champion Garrett Graves will be the fourth quarterback on the roster when he arrives on campus for fall camp.
