Justin Ayer comes to NBC Montana as a reporter from Wallingford, Connecticut. He’s a proud Husky, recently graduating from the University of Connecticut with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Communications.
While in college Justin had five internships. He started as a Manager Trainee at Hertz, then went to the Connecticut Tigers, a minor league team based out of Norwich. While with the Tigers, he wrote for The Tab, a college-voiced news site, where he wrote social and political beats. His senior year was TV-heavy, interning both at NBC Sports and NBC Connecticut (WVIT-TV) in the news and marketing departments.
When he’s not reporting he is a movie fanatic. However, he will not watch a film unless it is above a 7.5 rating on IMDB. He also loves to stay active hiking, going to the gym, reading and watching sports. He is a die-hard NY Giants, NY Yankees and UConn Husky basketball fan. His biggest problem is going to be finding those channels here in Montana.
Justin’s goal is to have a voice in the community by reporting on stories that matter most to those around him. Business, local events, consumer technology and sports are his topics of choice.
