HAMILTON, Mont. — With less than a week until Election Day there's been a steady stream of voters returning their absentee ballots in Ravalli County.
As of Wednesday afternoon 41 percent of the absentee ballots that were sent out have been returned to election headquarters in Hamilton. That's 5,800 of the 14,000 that were sent out.
Elections Supervisor Regina Plettenberg advises voters to get their ballots in the mail by Thursday and certainly no later than Friday.
All absentees must be in the elections office by 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Voters can drop their absentee ballots at any polling place in their county on Election Day.
