West entrance to Glacier National Park has reopened
MISSOULA, Mont. —
Glacier National Park officials say a motor vehicle accident near Triple Arches on the Going-to-the-Sun Road means the West Entrance Station is currently turning around all vehicles.
Officials say the road is gridlocked.
All traffic on the eastern half of the road is being turned around at Logan Pass.
These conditions are expected to continue through at least mid-afternoon until a towing service can successfully remove the cars from the road.
