Bozeman man dies in ATV accident

    BOZEMAN, Mont. - A Bozeman man died overnight Wednesday after crashing his ATV in the Little Bear area near the mouth of Gallatin Canyon, according the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office.

    Officials said in a press release 76-year-old Stanley Hamilton was reported overdue by his wife Wednesday at around 9 p.m.

    Multiple crews from various search and rescue groups responded, including the Reach medical helicopter and the Two Bear Air helicopter, officials said.

    A ground crew found Hamilton's body around 3 a.m. on a rugged trail, officials said, and an investigation determined Hamilton died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
