FREEZING FOG ADVISORY for the Flathead, Mission, Missoula and Bitterroot Valleys. Visibility as low as a quarter of a mile at times with patchy areas of ice.
High pressure will bring drier skies to the region through the weekend. High pressure is sinking air and this will trap colder air in many valley locations. These valley inversions will likely develop late this weekend into next week for the Missoula and Kalispell areas. Under the inversion, weekend high temperatures will in the upper 20s to lower 30s. Outside of the inversions, mild with highs in the 30s to lower 40s.
It appears we will need to wait about a week before the next chance of precipitation, with a slight chance next Wednesday and a better chance Thursday.
