BUTTE, Mont. — The EPA is holding a public discussion on Butte-related projects at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Officials say they have new developments on migratory birds, the Main Street plume, and the former Montana Pole site.
Earlier this year, we reported that after about 30 years of cleaning, the state hopes to reopen that former pole and treatment plant within the next two years.
Officials are containing certain chemicals to nine acres of the 40-acre site. Then Butte-Silver Bow will decide how to use the rest of the land.
