MISSOULA, Mont. —
CSKT Wildlife Management reports that a family group of three bears were killed Friday night south of Ronan. One of the bears was a marked female wearing a radio collar while the other two were cubs, one male and one female. That brings the total number of vehicle deaths to four on this stretch of Hwy 93 in 2018. That brings the number of bear deaths in the Northern Continental Divide Ecosystem (NCDE) to 26, 12 of those deaths were caused by vehicle collisions.
