HAMILTON, Mont. - A Hamilton man faces a slew of felonies, including rape, kidnapping and forcing drugs on his 17-year-old alleged victim.

Ravalli County prosecutors said 32-year-old Byron Craig Hall repeatedly raped the teenage mother over the course of several days, while forcibly injecting her with methamphetamines.

Court records said the girl's infant was in the home at the time.

The report said the girl told investigators she wasn't sure how many times Hall forced sex on her, or injected her with meth, but that it was "a lot," and that the drugs left her confused and disoriented. She also told them that Hall told her that he had tested positive for Hepatitis C.

Hall is also accused of strangling the girl until she lost consciousness.

Prosecutors recommended bail for Hall be set at $250,000. Justice Court Judge Jim Bailey said that was "too low." Bailey set Hall's bail at $750,000.
