Harsh winter weather continues

    WIND CHILL ADVISORY for all of southwest Montana east of the divide, including Bozeman, until 2 pm Sunday. Wind chills of 15 to 35 below zero.

    WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for the Missoula and Bitterroot Valleys, Bitterroot and Sapphire Mountains and Bozeman until 5 pm Sunday afternoon. 1 to 3 inches of accumulation expected with up to 7 inches in the mountains.


    Brutal wind chills will continue Sunday across NBC Montana. Wind chills as low as 35 below zero early in the day, then 10 to 25 below zero into the evening. Highs Sunday in the single digits and 10s.

    Periods of light to moderate snow through Monday. Snowfall will be heaviest across southwest and west central Montana, especially along and south of I-90. Snow and blowing snow will create travel difficulties, but sure to check the ROAD CONDITIONS from the Montana Department of Transportation.

    Temperatures will remain well below normal through next week and beyond. Some models suggest at least through February 20th. More accumulating snow is possible Monday through Wednesday of this week.
