Valley inversions will linger just a bit longer today in the Flathead, Missoula and Bitterroot Valleys. Expect slightly milder temperatures for valleys across western Montana. Highs will reach the low 20s in valleys and upper 30s in areas across the region with partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies. Overnight lows in the teens and 20s.

Our next weather maker will arrive Thursday afternoon. This will bring accumulating snow to most locations across NBC Montana. Snow will continue for most locations through late Friday and early Saturday morning. Mountain passes will see 3 to 10 inches of snow. Valley locations could see 1 to 3 inches. Road conditions will be changing rapidly. You can check the Montana road report by clicking here.
