WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY until 11 pm Wednesday for southwest Montana. This includes the Bozeman area.
Snow gradually ending across southwest Montana with another 1 to 2 inches of snow before it ends. Decreasing clouds elsewhere Wednesday night. Partly to mostly sunny with below normal temperatures. Lows in the single digits in Butte and Bozeman to the 10s in Missoula and Kalispell. Highs Thursday in the 20s in Bozeman to the 30s elsewhere.
A slow warming trend is expected for the second half of the week thanks to a building ridge of high pressure. Daytime highs will warm into the 40s by Friday and the 40s and 50s by Sunday! A weak disturbance will bring clouds and very isolated showers to the region for St. Patrick's Day.
Highs will be in the 40s and 50s next week which will create snow melt and possible low land flooding.
