MISSOULA, Mont. — Missoula Police will make an announcement Monday regarding developments in the cold case investigation of 5-year-old Siobhan McGuinness's murder in 1974.
McGuinness went missing on Feb. 4, 1974 from 500 block of N. 2nd St. W. Her body was found on Feb. 7, 1974, in a drain culvert near the Turah exit from Interstate 90.
"Over the course of the next 46 years, the Missoula Police Department has periodically worked this case, assigning several investigators who have followed up on any/all leads, reviewed evidence, and conducted interviews trying to find answers," a press release states. "Today we have one."
An 11 a.m. press conference will take place regarding the case on Monday.
