A new study shows Missoula has more marijuana shops per capita than any other city in the U.S.

Verilife.com reports Missoula has 18.1 dispensaries per 50,000 people.

Medford, Oregon, comes in second and Pueblo, Colorado, is third.

Oregon leads the pack for states with the most dispensaries, at 16.5 per 100,000 residents. The study's authors note that's not surprising since Oregon was among the first states to legalize medical marijuana.

Montana comes in third in the state rankings, with 15.1 dispensaries per 100,000 residents.

Our state brought in $1.8 million in tax revenue from marijuana in 2018.
