Montana legislature takes up revisions to medical marijuana law

MISSOULA, Mont. — The Montana Legislature is taking up a bill to change medical marijuana laws.

Senate Bill 265 would increase the tax on gross medical marijuana sales to 4%.

The revisions would also set new requirements on identification cards, licenses, testing and inspections.

Democrat, Tom Jacobson is proposing the revisions.
