MISSOULA, Mont. — The Race to the Sky begins Friday in Lincoln with veterinary check-ins. The official start of all races is 2 p.m. Saturday.
According to the race's website, four mushers will compete in the 300-mile race:
- Clayton Perry - Power, Montana
- Charmayne Morrison - Bozeman, Montana
- Jessie Royer - Seeley Lake, Montana
- Erik Oline - Ashland, Oregon
Those competing in the 100-mile race include:
- Christina Gibson - Carlton, Washington
- Aidan Torres - Okanogan, Washington
- Kevin Daugherty - McCall, Idaho
- Jesika Reimer - Emigrant Gap, California
- Maddie Longpre-Harrer - Power, Montana
- Nicole Lombardi - Lincoln, Montana
- Bucky Hasty - Bozeman, Montana
- Hunter Hale - Seeley Lake, Montana
- Shane Pearson - Cascade, Montana
- Adrian Lopez - Seeley Lake, Montana
- Chris Adkins - Sand Coulee, Montana
- Thomas Blackham - Terreton, Idaho
- Wade Donaldson - Coalville, Utah
The Race to the Sky is part of the Rocky Mountain Triple Crown, which includes the Idaho Sled Dog Challenge and Eagle Cap Extreme.
Royer won the Idaho Sled Dog Challenge earlier this month.
