BOZEMAN, Mont. — The celebration continues for Montana State University's Homecoming week.
Students gathered at Malone Centennial Hall on Wednesday for food and music at the annual barbecue.
The Homecoming court holds the event to encourage students to vote. Students say gatherings help build community on campus.
"This is a fantastic event. It's about engaging students -- getting everyone out, communicating with each other. Really building community and celebrating 125 years at Montana State University," said MSU senior Nick Johnson.
Many events are scheduled throughout the week.
Wednesday is the lighting of the "M" at Mount Baldy. A pep rally is being held Friday in downtown Bozeman, and Saturday be sure to catch the entire KTVM team in the Homecoming parade on Main Street at 10 a.m.
