Montana woman behind bars after high-speed pursuit

    A 19-year-old Montana woman is behind bars tonight after officers say she led them on a high-speed chase through Bozeman late Saturday night.

    According to police reports, Bozeman Police Department responded to the intersection of 7th Avenue and Durston Road and attempted to pull over Anna Alvarado, who sped away from the officer.

    After reaching speeds of more than 70 mph, law enforcement officials say Alvarado collided with a car at the intersection of 11th Avenue and Main Street and then crashed through a fence.

    Alvarado and the people in the car she collided with were transported to Bozeman Deaconess with injuries.

    After being released from the hospital, police say Alvarado was taken into custody at the Gallatin County Detention Center.

    Alvarado is being held with no bond for criminal endangerment and violation of parole.
